Sir Henry’s is a beautiful family run restaurant and beer garden based in the heart of Essex. Serving some of the finest food in the area, from classic British dishes to our chefs daily specials. We are here to make your time with us the best it can be, so sit back, relax, eat, drink, smile and laugh
This 13th century building which was built in 1290 (almost 750 years old) has been beautifully transformed to highlight its original features and is surrounded by a 13th century moat with a beautiful landscaped beer garden, perfect for any Summer day or cosy night by our log fires

Sundays
Sunday is a big deal to us at Sir Henry’s. It brings family and friends together like nothing else. We pride ourselves on serving one of the best roasts in Essex and cook everything fresh every Sunday, from the fluffy and crispy roast potatoes to the slow roasted sirloin beef loin. Don’t forget to book though, as we are extremely busy every Sunday.
